April was another interesting month with lots happening in and around KL.
April 25 was the coronation of the new King of Malaysia (Dualat Taunku) . He is the uncle of an aquaintance of ours, who happened to have lived for some time in Penshurst, Sydney. The King is the former Sultan of Perlis.

The Term 1 school vacation also fell in April and we took the opportunity to revisit one of our favourite spots - Melaka (Malacca). We also spent a day at A' Formosa Water World .... to prime the boys up for a day of historical sites and Chinese antique stores the next day.

The Malacca River Some of the ancient buildings which line the river. Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese and British history is evident all along the river.

Malacca Jack and Kate had a tour of the township in a trishaw.

A'Formosa Water World. We had a day at Water World and the park was pretty well empty. The boys tested all the slides, pools and the 'Lazy River'. They even caught a tube or two in the wave pool.

All of us on the Family Slide.
