Departing Tamworth.
We left on our 18-month adventure to Malaysia and S.E. Asia on the 15th July, 2001. We flew from Tamworth Airport to Sydney and then joined a connecting flight through to Kuala Lumpur. Nanna and Pop farewelled us at Sydney Airport.

Here we are arriving at K.L.I.A.

Why we came
Mick was asked to undertake some long-term project work with "Adskill" - TAFE's commercial joint-venture training company in Malaysia. The company provides consultancy services in human resource development and training to organisations in the private and public sector, including advisory and quality assurance services for technical training colleges and institutes. Kate took leave from her position and the boys came along for the ride.

The Boys.
Nicholas, Matthew and Jack are attending the Australian International School in Country Heights, Kuala Lumpur. The school is only eighteen months old and is the first here to offer an Australian curriculum. The school is one of about twelve International Schools in K.L. The others include British, American, Japanese, German and French schools.
